Good evening, i wonder if anybody could possibly help with further information i have on two a/c of StabI/ZG76 prob from 1939-40.

Bf110C-2 W.Nr3014 M8+CB poss that of the Gruppe Tech.Officer ? Looking for any clues of the identity of this crew or a time frame of useage or indeed loss.

Bf110C-1 W.Nr1432 M8+*B ... Again any indications of identity, crew, or timeframe/loss.
Any help would be most appreciated.

Re: Bf110C StabI/ZG76 1939-40

I am afraid that I do not have the Wk Nrs or codes of most of the I/ZG 76 the losses but the Gruppenstab was Hptm Günther Reinecke Gr Kdr to 30 Apr 40, then Hptm Werner Restermeyer (to 15 Aug 40) then Hptm Heinrich Graf Von Stillfried to 7 Oct 40. Gr Adj was Lt Manfred Riegel (to 20 Feb 40) then Oblt Hans Jäger (to 29 May 40) then Oblt Gustav Loobes (to 15 Aug 40). TO was Oblt Hugo Rademacher. NO was Lt Karl-Heinz Holborn

Re: Bf110C StabI/ZG76 1939-40

Good afternoon Chris, thanks very much for your information on the StabI/ZG76 chain of command. This is very helpful.

Im trying to establish the time frame of these two a/c so i can add these to my data, i suspect these are probably more than likely from the the beginning of the Western Campaign and up to early summer 1940.

Kindest regs,
Steve.
