Hubert Mons Woodward RAF 969449
Does anyone have any information about Hubert Mons Woodward.
I believe he was born in Connecticut, USA in 1922. He joined the RAF and trained as a pilot. NCO Number 969449. He was with 127 Squadron as a F/Sgt flying Hurricanes in the Middle East from March 43 until Nov 43. He was then posted to 123 Squadron. He is last listed in the 123Sqn ORB in May 1944 as a W/O. I can find no trace of him on any Air Force List so he doesn't look to have been commissioned. Thanks Andy |
