Panzerschreck photo request
Hi,
I’ve been searching without luck for photographs of Focke-Wulf 190s equipped with Panzerschreck anti-tank rockets, to illustrate an article that I’ve written. If anyone is able to provide me with a good quality, publishable scan of such a photograph, please contact me via my email address: bookie190@hotmail.com. It doesn’t matter if the photograph has been published before. Any contributions would be appropriately credited and acknowledged. All the best, Andrew A. Andy
How quickly do you need it. I have all of Alfred Price's 190 photos (which are quite a number) but am away until tomorrow night so cannot look for them until then. If anyone had one, Alfred would have |

Re: Panzerschreck photo request
Hi Chris,
Thanks for the (very) quick reply and offer to help. There's no particular hurry, because this article has no deadline. I look forward to seeing what is in Mr. Price's collection. All the best, Andrew A. Air War Publications - www.airwarpublications.com |

Re: Panzerschreck photo request
Andrew, there is rather fuzzy shot of one from SG 77 in JaPo's booklet on the F and G published some years back. However, it is clearly a Panzerschreck.

Re: Panzerschreck photo request
Andrew: Was it mounted under the wing in some sort of cage? I have gone through about 200 photos which show all sorts of things on in and under FW 190s and this is the only one that looks vaguely like a Panzerschreck. I have another showing a rocket tube under the centreline

Dear Gang,
by following up this thread i've found this http://falkeeins.blogspot.de/2012/05...erschreck.html Hopefully this might help a little bit - Cheerio Norbert P.S. (edited): I tried several times to put in another link for to compare with "Panzerblitz" but i failed at least.

Re: Panzerschreck photo request
John and Nordpol,
Thanks for the replies. Chris, The twelve Panzerschreck rockets were carried on four clusters of three launcher rails, with two clusters under each wing. Attached is a diagram for the Panzerschreck arrangement, and a photograph of the similar PD. 88. All the best, Andrew A. Air War Publications - www.facebook.com/airwarpublications |

Re: Panzerschreck photo request
Hello Chris. I would like to know what kind of FW 190 photos you might have along similar lines. Production aircraft FW 190A-F. Could you drop me a line at hceci@wi.rr.com ? I would really appreciate your help. I plan to return the favor.
