Blenheim bomber air victory 26 June 1940

Hi guys

On 26 June 1940, 2 Group Blenheims raided Munster. One was shot down by flak, but another shot down a Bf109 of II/JG26 flown by Ltn Otto-Heinrich Hilleke, who was killed.

I'm hoping to establish identity of the Blenheim air gunner etc.

The ORB is not helpful, 110 Sqn makes no explicit references to a fighter being shot down. 2 aircraft each were sent to the following targets Gelsenkirchen, Hamburg, Hamm, Munster, Soest and Wedel (12 in total). The take off times are spread out during the day so everyone went singly

The crews to Munster were

R3874 S/L Lascelles pilot, Sgt Friendly nav, Sgt Rund WOp/AG 10:30-11:50

R3828 F/O Hill pilot, Sgt Hodder nav, Sgt Gray WOp/AG 05:45-08:45
Crashlanded Wattisham after u/c damaged by enemy action

There is another crew missing

R3776 P/O Warboys pilot, Sgt Gainsford nav, Sgt Cooper WOp/AG 15:45-
They failed to return from Soest
