Darn, I wish I could read that Me 262 Flugbuch, it's so tiny and my monitor isn''t that great. Looks like he flew G 5 (Gelb 5, Yellow 5) with JG 7 on a ferry flight somewhere, with Erfurt as his first stop.

The picture could be authentic enough but I doubt the authenticity of the album. It seems to me the pics are (with that one exception) all widely available pictures that seem to have been printed on the same paper with that jagged edge (or torn the same way). As if someone has simply been on the web and downloaded a bunch of pics and then wants to make it appear as an old album...

I agree,
It is a motley collection of allied and axis aircraft. The pictures may be from original negatives, but as an "album" depicting the personal recollections of a single person it has little value. I have the picture of the Baka in a very old WW II book.

This http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?...tem=6236529472 is an Arado Ar 68 E.

This "Dornier" aircraft: http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?...tem=6236994258 is a Blohm & Voss Ha 139 (with yellow outer wing surfaces).

This "Arado": http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?...tem=6236994270 is a Heinkel He 60.

Yep, that's Fw. Fritz Dinger's Bf 109F-4 W.Nr. 7187 of 4./JG 53! This must be the single most photographed 109 wreck ever! These are the latest (seasonwise) I've seen and must have been taken in October/November 1941 I've never seen the aircraft in such a sad state before. Lovely photos.

Regards,

Kjetil
