Loss of Soviet Boston, AL267?
I am looking for the loss location and date of a VVS Boston, more precisely DB-7B Boston Mk. IIIA, AL267. The wreck was photographed by the Hungarians.
Thank you, in advance,

Thank you Nikita for the quick answer. Great! Although I was expecting a different date...

Re: Loss of Soviet Boston, AL267?
In total 6 Bostons were lost by 794 BAP on this date and one conducted belly landing after fighters interception. General loss list gives number as A L(or Z hard to decipher handwriting) 267.

Re: Loss of Soviet Boston, AL267?
Thanks for Nikita's input, I could write the proper caption of an illustration to be included in vol. 2 of Hungarian Fighter Colours: "This pair of photos depicting a lend-lease Boston in Soviet service was originally thought to show the victim of Százados Újszászy and Főhadnagy Bejczy of 1 August 1943, which crashed North of Byelgorod. However, based on the serial number visible on the detail photo under the tailplane, namely AL267, the unfortunate aircraft – proper designation DB-7B Boston Mk. IIIA, ex-RAF – actually belonged to the 794 BAP/221 BAD, and was lost to fighters on 1 July 1942 at Yamy, north of Varvarovka (about 500 km distance from Byelgorod). This example shows the difficulty of pinpointing a certain event, and matching victory claims of one side to actual losses of the other side."
