19 Squadron Spitfire Ib's - Luftwaffe and Allied Air Forces Discussion Forum

Hi Can anyone shed light on what the aircraft letters were applied to these 19 squadron Spitfire Ib serialed R6923, R6770, R6889, R6761, R6904, R6919, R6776 & R6912. Many thanks Andy

I have R6776 as "H".

It's quite a task - I thought they would all be in Fighter Command losses but all but R6912 ended there days with someone else, so its down to photo searches of Spitfire with QV codes but then Mk 1b photos are as rare as hens teeth! Google Luck!
