II./JG 300 Kommandeur

Who was (were) in charge of II./JG 300 between Lindenberger (09.44) and Radener (02.45)?
BTW, I don't have J-Y. Lorant's book.

Hi Chris,

..looks like you've been reading Holms' site perhaps... Lindenberger didn't stop being CO in September 44 AFAIK, he was always the ranking pilot in II./ JG 300 through this period but as a WWI aviator lacked experience on the Fw 190 and never led II./ JG 300 in the air..

for example he's mentioned here, flying a ground-strafing sortie on 24/01/45

I finally found out that he was replaced by Dietsche but not before 16 April 1945.

I didn't see it mentioned in FalkeEins Blog link above, but the FW-190 Engst is climbing into is equipped with the quite rare EZ-42 gunsight.
