Information concerning loss of Uffz. Franz Baumgartner - 19.08.1942

Hi,

Can anyone provide details on the loss of Uffz. Franz Baumgartner who was a flight mechanic in a bomber crew killed over the East on the 19th August 1942?

He had been awarded the iron cross 1st and 2nd class plus the Golden Flight Award.

With thanks

Rick

Frankly, I don't know. Either outbound or inbound. You have to find a solution yourself. Maybe the time of the loss, 13.00, will be a key.
