Question 23 october 1943 - Werk: 19 472 - crashed : Carquefou ?

Question from Internet:

"....The 23 october 1943, one messerschmitt bf 109 crash in the city of Carquefou near by Nantes in France, the pilot crash in the river named Erdre with parachute, the french association ABSA 35 give the number of plane : N° 19 472 but i have not the name of the pilot. Please, is it possible have the name of this pilot and the photography, if is possible. Thank you! ..."



Somebody know more about pilot name and unit ?

Kris,

as per GQM the aircraft was from 12./JG 2, the not listed pilot bailed out after being shot up during air combat.

Ahhh... but I have seen the holy grail! And it is painted RLM 76 all over with a large Mickey Mouse on the side, there is a familiar pilot in front of it and it has an Erla Haube!
