13 August 1943 10 OTU Det. Z9300
Having been part of a large ASR search in the Bay, ten minutes after 1600 hours due to port engine trouble the Whitley ditched.
Sgt F Boyd Sgt W G Wishart Sgt T Parker Sgt R F Crouch Sgt A J Hendry The crew were picked up from their dinghy three days later by a RN destroyer. Could anyone let me know if the rescue report exists or perhaps the RN destroyer name? Many Thanks Andy Bird
