Heinkel He-111 from Vietzkerstrand Airport
I found information that one aircraft from Vietzkerstrand ditched in the Baltic Sea close to Stolpmunde ( now Ustka, Poland) It was probably He-111, but I'm not sure, 2 pilots survived, but the radiooperator went down with the plane.I'm looking for any more information - the date, type of plane, crew names etc.
I know that there is some more info in : FREITAG E. 1998. Die Deutsche Luftwaffe auf dem Land – und Seefliegerhorst Vietzkerstrand 1942–1944 but i don't have this book.
