Spitfire 1XB PL393

This Spitfire was piloted by a Norwegian Pilot Sgt Tormod Abrahamsen and crashed while providing ground cover for liberating troops over Oosterhout nl. on 3rd Nov 1944. As I understand it, this Spitfire was retrieved, sent back to England, rebuilt and rejoined 331 Squadron on 25th Jan 1945. It was late shot down, again over Holland in April 1945, this time the pilot is Sgt Jens Eilif Holwech who didn't survive but is discovered still sitting in the cockpit. My question is, could this in reality be the same refurbished plane, or has history become a bit hazy! Any information would be very gratefully received.

Re: Spitfire 1XB PL393

Thanks for the reply. I think we have been able to piece together the story of this aircraft with info from other various sources. Thank you though for your input.
