Hurricane Losses between 1st to 9th May 1940 ?

Hello,

Anyone know which Hurricane aircraft were lost in action or by accident between the 1st May and 9th May 1940 ?

So far the only ones I can find is N2362 of 87 Sqdn on the 9th.

Many thanks
Alex

Re: Hurricane Losses between 1st to 9th May 1940 ?

6 May 1940 87 SQUADRON, SENON Hurricane P2540. Overturned on landing at Lille-Seclin due to poor state of airfield. Squadron Leader J. S. Dewar injured - admitted to hospital. Aircraft damaged but repairable – believed abandoned at No.21 AD Chateau Bougon 18.6.40.

8 May 1940 73 SQUADRON, ÉTAIN-ROUVRES Hurricane P2647. Braked hard to avoid collision with another aircraft and overturned on landing from practise flight. Sergeant L. Y. T. Friend unhurt. Aircraft TP*X damaged but repairable.

8 May 1940 73 SQUADRON, ÉTAIN-ROUVRES Hurricane L1844. Undercarriage collapsed while taxying. Squadron Leader J. W. C. More unhurt. Aircraft TP*W damaged but repairable – later deemed a write-off.
Serial believed correct as shown. Both these aircraft were collected by No.4 R&SU and returned to the UK for repair or salvage.

9 May 1940 87 SQUADRON, SENON Hurricane N2362. Radiator damaged by return fire from Do17 of Stab KG2 engaged over Lille-Seclin and overturned attempting forced-landing near Rethel. Pilot Officer Horatio James Rennie Dunn badly injured head - admitted to hospital. Aircraft a write-off.
Pilot Officer Dunn was evacuated back to England where he succumbed to his injuries on June 1.
