Seeking loss details, if known,for Uffz. Gunther Goldbeck b.17-12-1920 Hamburg of KGrzbV 23 shown as missing Konstaninow area Jan. 1943. I have checked GQM but some of the entries I have for the period are not readable,

30 Jan 43: 2 He 111 crashes and accidents at Konstantinovka, 5 WIA. The Gruppe flew a maximum effort this date to support the ill-fated breakout attempt from Stalingrad with most flights made at very low altitude in the face of heavy Russian AA fire.

Matti and Larry, thank you both for the info. that you provided. On checking the GQM (report dated 18-2-1943 page 12 ) I found I had recorded the loss but it only showed four crewmen not including Uffz.Gunther Goldbach. The Deutches Rotes Kreuz page , where I got the info. from, also shows the Ff Lt Hans Klapdohr b. 29-8-1917 at Dresden as missing. The info. Matti provided also enabled me to correct two of the names I extracted from the smudged GQM page I had, so thanks again,
