A History of the Mediterranean Air War, 1940-1945, Volume Three

Amazon has the release date August 31, I'm guessing that is when it will be released in the U.S.

For those in the U.S., Amazon has Volume 2 for for $32.31 right now. It's 66% Off.

Thank you. I've just bought a copy of vol. 2 at the Amazon for only $27.85.
By the way, Peter Spoden's "Enemy In The Dark: The Story of a Luftwaffe Night-Fighter Pilot", which has been out of print, is again available at a very affordable price:

Re: A History of the Mediterranean Air War, 1940-1945, Volume Three

Prob a stupid question, obviously Shores' history of the Med Air War sofar covers Africa, does anyone know if are there any plans to cover Italy/Sicily as the action moves North? I've got the first two and will be buying this one, but I'd love him to do Italy aswell.....his work is fantastic.

Oh and Spoden's book is fantastic, a nice easy and quick read, I read it very recently and enjoyed it thoroughly.

The intention is to complete the entire Mediterranean campaign to 1945. Volume 4 will go from middle May to at least the end of October 1943. How much beyond that it goes will depend on how big it gets. We expect to do three more volumes after volume 4: one tactical volume to go from whenever volume 4 ends to the end of the war; two strategic volumes going from November 1943 to the end of the war, which will probably include Tidal Wave.

Enjoy!

Frank.
