Re: Kastrup, June 1945
Hello Marc-André,
Thank you for these stunning photos. I believe that Bf 109 in the first series with the men sitting on its nose is a Bf 109 K-4: Raised oil filler hatch; lower cowl bumps; large upper wing bumps; and a rearward mounted DF loop. Steve Sheflin |

Re: Kastrup, June 1945
Steve,
My pleasure; the original culprit is Chris Simmonds and Roy-Magne Mo, though ![]() As for your Bf 109 K-4, you're correct: it is actually W.Nr. 334 183 which we can pin down thanks to this other picture showing it in the same position next to a II./JG 3 (white tail band and horizontal black Gruppe bar) 109 G: https://www.flickr.com/photos/280920...-cVU1FA-cVU22s Source: Mol and Poruba 2000, p. 38. |

Re: Kastrup, June 1945
The G-10 and K-4 at Kastrup, belonged to 10/JG 51, wich transferred, to Denmark, evening 4 may 1945.
