I was wondering are there any decent photos of Hartman's 109G10?
I am trying to find out if it had a mast for the antenna or the antenna entered the fuselage directly behind the canopy. Any help will be greatly appreciated. I have seem models depicting both types so am somewhat confused. Thanks, George.

Re: Eric Hartman's 109G10 - antenna?
Hi,
This should settle it. You can just discern the mast behind the loop. bregds SES |

Re: Eric Hartman's 109G10 - antenna?
The mast in the above photos is attached to the Erla Haube.
Referencing the above post, no mast was ever mounted "behind" the loop on a G10. The mast was either directly on the Erla Haube (early 1944 variants)...or the mast was completely omitted, and affixed to the directly to the fuselage right in front of the loop (late 1944/1945 variants). Mike |
