Colonel Golovya Soviet Air Force Arctic Circle 1941
Hi
Long shot, but has anyone got any more information on a Colonel Golovya He was Commander of 1 Air Regiment in late 1941 in the Arctic Circle. I am sure 1 Air Regiment consisted on 145IAP, 147IAP and a SB bomber unit? regards MS |

Hi,
Do you mean the 1st Mixed air division (SAD)? It contained these units: 137 SBAP, 145 IAP, 147 IAP, 10 SBAP. Golovnya was in command until 2/15/42. That's all I have. I hope this helps. http://www.online-translator.com/url...uct/d/sad1.dat Henry |
