The book is in French and not having it, are we sure that at this very busy time for the Luftwaffe that there are photos of III./JG 2?

In JFV 13/IV on pages 217/218 are two photos of a Fw 190 A-7 of Stab III./JG 2 (Winkel Dreieck/chevron triangle, a white spiral on the spinner and yellow panel under the nose), taken in spring 1944, probably the plane of Hptm Herbert Huppertz.

I know when he was shot down on 8/6/44 he was flying Fw 190 A-8 (W.Nr. 730 440)

Jean-Bernard Frappé's book has two pilot portraits, leaning on Fw 190s but these are pretty close-up, so there's little marking or camouflage detail to be seen.
