G-12 GV+ZT
I hv a picture showing a G-12, with first 2 letters GV+, I suppose it hv to be the GV+ZT or GV+HA , but "Kanzel" is wearing the number 19245, a well known Wn for a G-12, but STKZ is another...???? are the Wn for the GV+ZT nd GV+HA known ??
An other picture shows a G-2/G-4 , of a training unit possibly the JG 108, as we are in the Vienna area, wearing the code GS+CX, is the Wn known for that one ?? Rémi |

Re: G-12 GV+ZT
Thanks Remi
The W/Nr you gave 19245 is as you say a mixture of Type G-4/G-12s - The Stkz for this series would put 19245 as VN+QH - (I have 19246 as VN+QI) I only have a part Stkz of GV+H? (from a photo source) and Stkz GS+CI to GS+CW with No W/Nrs as is the case with GV+H and GV+Z series. |

Re: G-12 GV+ZT
IIRC, most, if not all G-12s were converted from salvage wrecks by B&V, so W.Nr. will be scattered.

Re: G-12 GV+ZT
All G-12, are made of wrecks, the 19245 is an G-12 per se, but was damaged on july or august 1944, some pcs could hv been used later by the workshop of the airfield to repair the GV+HA....
