V-1 Carrier planes
Hello,
I think the Heinkel He 111 is known as the common carier for the V-1. But quite a while ago, I saw an picture in an old aircraft magazine called "Der Flieger", showing a Fw 200 as V-1 carrier. Also recently I found a short video clip showing a Ju 188 dropping a V-1. Is anything known about these two types used as V-1 carriers? Kind regards Last edited by Wolfgang Henrich; 3rd August 2020 at 16:09. |

Re: V-1 Carrier planes
The He 111 was the only type that launched the V1 operationally but the Ju 88 G and Ju 388 were considered (see the attached item).

Re: V-1 Carrier planes
If a Ju 188 launched a V1 against London, could you give the source for this information and the date of the launch?
