Re: Elias Kuhlein Help!!!

Hi JohnThere are quite a few sites re: Kuehlein's plane...several years ago the Luftwaffe Ring had put out an article plus made mention of a decal set for his Me109 with "eyeball" fuselage bulges...as an aside he was from Bayreuth and I had a chance to communicate with him some time back

Re: Elias Kuhlein Help!!!

HI michael, thanks for your reply, I still havent found anything much on the web ring, (I am a bit new to this!!) someone sent me a link to claes sundins site and a couple of links to model web sites which have been very helpful. Is Herr Kuhlein still alive? I would love to get his opinion of my model and send him some video of it flying, if you have any contact details for him that would be fantastic.
Many thanks again for your help.

Re: Elias Kuhlein Help!!!

Hi John!
I have a polish magazine called "messerschmitt Bf 109" published by AJ-PRESS in 1999 and written by Robert Michulec.
The mail address is ajpress@kki.net.pl

In the magazine there is a colour profile showing Kühleins mount

Also in the book "Luftwaffe photo-report 1919 - 1945" by Karl Ries and published by Motorbuch Verlag You will find a photo of his airplane and a photo of him sitting next to Ln. Günther Stedtfeld, Stkpt. of 7./JG 51

I do not know if this helps You a little. Unfortunately I do not have a scanner at home, but if You can´t find any of these, then contact me again and I will see what I can do!
Good luck on Your very interesting project, would love to see some pictures on Your progress

Christian
