Sgt Pendleton, 124 Squadron
Hi,
I'm looking for the first name of Sgt E. Pendleton, American who POW on 13 March 1942 as a 124 Squadron pilot (Spitfire P8797). I think the answer should be in TNA, AIR 81/12664 but I'm not in England now. Best regards Greg |

Re: Sgt Pendleton, 124 Squadron
This link has him as Eugene Pendleton:
https://caspir.warplane.com/personne...ch/p/600024704 He was from Chicago. Newspaper Story on his death in a plane crash in Florida in 1966. Story gives a little on his wartime experiences. https://www.newspapers.com/article/t...une/177178759/ https://www.newspapers.com/article/t...une/177179016/ https://www.newspapers.com/article/c...end/177203640/ Last edited by RSwank; 22nd July 2025 at 14:54. |
