Spy planes for MI6-others over occupied cpountriess
a Captain Ronald Taylor was a World War II sabotage agent, recognized by the constructorscompany.org.uk and likely working for the Special Operations Executive (SOE), which has been historically linked to British intelligence. Is Ron Taylor, diver and designer and builder off his own housings for underwater cameras, the same person, and did he konstrukt camerahousing for airplanes as well?
Saw there was a youtube film about a Lockheed Electra in use, did they use captured German aircrafts as well? |

Re: Spy planes for MI6-others over occupied cpountriess
I put little stock in Youtube. Film fragments, often unattributed, are cobbled together along with amateur to somewhat more intelligent narration. During the war, a number of aircraft were fitted for a variety of reconnaissance missions. The Allies were puzzled by observations, during the day, of German troop and vehicle movements. They decided to develop photo-flash bombs linked to an onboard camera to capture these movements at night. The problems involved included the aircraft making noise and being spotted on radar.
