French aviator - first aerial crop dusting 1921, Ohio
On 3 August 1921 the first known aerial crop (in this case tree) dusting took place near Troy, Ohio by a USAAS Curtiss Jenny flown by pilot Lt. John A. Macready from nearby McCook Field, Dayton.
The dusting equipment on that flight however was handled by a "French aviator", whose name appears to be mentioned nowhere. Who can help me with the Frenchman's name after all? Thanks for info. Leendert |

Thread posted too hastily: just found his name was Etienne Dormoy.
