Me 262 PR
I understand there were a few Me 262s converted to photo recon aircraft:
Me 262 A-1/U3, A-4a, A-5a Did any of them fly any ops? I don't recall seeing any mentioned in the luftwaffe.data on recon units. I have a drawing of one in a old Airfix book |

Re: Me 262 PR
Didn’t Osprey do a book on such aircraft written by Robert Forsyth?

Re: Me 262 PR
Hi James,
It's likely that Andy Mitchell's excellent content on his luftwaffedata.co.uk site has already answered your question. As Chris mentioned, you can find additional context and pictorial coverage of the aircraft and people involved in Me 262 recon units in these books:

Eariler on my website I published I./NAG 1 and the Me 262 (2008) and NAG 6 and the Me 262 (2011) but the Axis Wings piece and the online additions incorporate all the research I've done on the topic since then. |
