Classic Publications RIP?

Dear Gruppe,

Quote from the Ian Allan Webiste:

"Please note that 'Luftwaffe at War, Volume 1', published in January 2007, is the final title to be published under the Classic Publications imprint. Future titles, including the second volume of 'Luftwaffe at War', will be published under the Midland Publishing imprint. Any reprints of earlier titles from Classic will continue to appear under that name."

Does anyone know more about this move?

No, but anyone who thinks it is a bad move might want to contact Ian Allan and tell them so. Big companies occasionally listen to their customers, even now.

Modeldad will become famous soon enough
Re: Classic Publications RIP?

Ian Alan bought Classic quite a while back. So getting all under one roof and one name is just an organizational move.

Don't care one bit about the name of the publisher as long as the quality is there, and based on the Stuka book under the now defunct Classic name, it ain't there.
