Hello One & All,

can anyone kindly provide more details concerning the circumstances of loss of F-5E 44-24271 (13th PRS) on the 15th February 1945; the pilot, Ross Madden became a POW...

Cheers

Dear Rod,

According to Patricia Fassell Keen's book, "Eyes of the Eighth: 7th PRG 1942-1945", on page 300 it states, "Ross Madden told about getting shot down over Paderborn, hiding and running a few days, being captured and ending up back at Paderborn before his trip to prison camp."

That is all it says about his being shot down.
