Is there any readers in this forum, who lives in Bergen, Oslo or Drontheim(Tronhjem)? Best wishes Christian

Re: Wargraves in Norway.
Hi, Christian.
I have the following information on the graves you were looking for in Trondheim: Uffz. Ludwig Geiger Born 14.03.1923 in Teisnach He was one of the crew members on the Seenot-Weihe of I./JG 5 which was shot down on July 9th 1943. The original loss record was registered as follows: http://www.ahs.no/ref_db/lw_loss_pub...?lossid=107776 Uffz. Wilhelm Mayer Born 01.05.1918 in Ganacker He was on board a Ju 52 from Transportstaffel Fliegerführer Nord, which crashed into Tønnølfjellet. This crash is described in detail on the following webpage: http://ktsorens.tihlde.org/flyvrak/oksvoll.html and the loss record as follows: http://www.ahs.no/ref_db/lw_loss_pub...?lossid=102418 Uffz. Josef Forst He was in one of two aircraft from III./K.G.40 which sustained damage on October 21st 1944. I have no further details on him, but a NVM for II./KG 40 should reveal a bit more detail. He was apparently not killed in the crash directly, as place of death is given as Trondheim (Lw.Laz.), indicating the Luftwaffe hospital in Trondheim More info later Regards, Andreas B
