He111 with code 2F

On eBay there is a picture of a He111 which have the code 2F+I - the code for the staffel is hard to read, but 'I' seems to be white.. I have only one plane with the code 2F listed - a Ju52 w.nr 6687 from Kgr.z.b.v.106. The owner of the photo writes 'KG30 - Eindhoven'. Any thoughts on the unit..

Re: He111 with code 2F

Hi,

could be either II./KG28 or II./KG54. Unit`s code is 2F+LP on this particular photo.

The unit is KG 28 but that unit has never been stationed at Eindhoven.
It could have been a visitor but than the hangar must be the old Dutch pre-war hangar. But I have my doubts about that. I will have a closer look and come back to you later.

It is not one of the prewar Dutch hangars. So I think it is not Eindhoven and not KG 30.
