Kampfgeschwader 27 Question.
I have searched high and low as to exactly when Kampfgeschwader 27 was issued the honourary title 'Boelcke'?
Was it on formation in May 1939 or later? Any help will be very well received. Regards Richard.

Thank you for the links you posted, they have been a good help. I have also just found out that it was Luftwaffen-Verordnungsblatt Nr 12 which ordered the introduction of the cuffband on 18-April-1935. Regards Richard.
