Sqn Ldr J.G. West DFM RNZAF
Hi guys
Sqn Ldr Jeff West was attached to 103 MU at Aboukir in 1943, and claimed a recce Bf109G damaged on 13 August 1943, and one recce Bf109G destroyed on 24 August 1943. It is believed that both Bf109Gs came from 2.(F)/123 based on Crete. Has anyone any information? Was one or both lost? Cheers Brian

A couple of articles in Avions some time ago told the story about 2.(F)/123 in the Med area. No losses by 109s are listed for any of the dates you give. Cheers Stig
