looking for picture of former luftwaffe cremember to solve mystery
hello,
we are tracing the history of a stuka, until yet e found all its historical background info even what realy happened after the crash coz pilot survived the crash and gave later in the years 2002-2004 his recals we have pictures from the pilot, but NOT from his bordfunker that is burried in german cemetary LOMMEL belgium We have contacteed Wast but received as answer they don't have picture from the bordfunker so does anyone has an idea or advice were we can find a picture so that we can close this chapter compleet We would like to thank you all in advance for your advice, phil |

Hello Phil,
With such cryptical descriptions of 'a Stuka' / 'a pilot' / 'a crash location' and no date, Werkenummer of this Stuka, name of the crew members and the unit they belonged to, you could also ask for the location of Atlantis. As Goerings plan to establish a hall of honour for all decorated Luftwaffe pilots has been postponed for some centuries (I hope), your chance to get help will increase tremendously if you would be more specific. There are many willing and most helpful gents around here with expert knowledge about nighfighters, (dive) bombers, airfields, radar systems and all sorts of units you can think of. So try again! here are the details bordfunkers name: heinrich Basler born 6/4/1918- 12/5/1940 Stukageschw; ISt.G2 stuka B1 werknummer 5136 crashed Grazen Belgium as a matter i have posted in the past some info about this case I was just looking for a pic from Basler . kind regards phil |

I saw once books A_Z with all pictures in from german soldiers could it be it was from the german red cross?
