Looking for info on HE-111 1G+LP from KG 27
I was wondering if someone could clarify the exact crash place, i found this entry on feldgrau :

3 Jul 41: 6. Staffel He 111 H-2 (1G+LP) lost during an attack on the railway station and rail yards at Zhmerinka/36 km southwest of Vinnitsa, 100%, 1 KIA and 1 WIA.

Yet in D. Bernad's book from Barbarossa to Odessa the crash location is given as Venetia which is in Romania.

Does anyone have any additional info re the fate of this plane or can confirm either crash place ?

I have "5 km nördlich Venetia bei Fogarasch an der Alt" and reason "Absturz und Aufschlagbrand infolge Verorientierung und Brennstoffmangel. Bruch 100 %.". Therefore I assume that "Zhmerinka/36 km southwest of Vinnitsa" was the target and the aircraft was lost during return flight.

Does anyone know if there are photos of this specific aircraft, or maybe profiles of it, or maybe of the same unit from when they were operating from Focsani Sud ?

Sorry for bumping this thread again, does anyone have by any chance photos of KG 27 from june-aug 1941 ?
