Hello « 182ppl »

Many thanks for your message, I have post it nearly 5 years ago now ,but it’s still topical

It’s very pleasant to know that he’s still with us

I will be very glad if you may contact Robert Grout for to get an answer on what happened to him during the battle of the bulge, he was shot down by a 88mm shell he evaded and return to friendly lines, I think this happened around the 2 January 1945 and the airplane could be the #44-19790

Send him my best wishes and the ones of all who are grateful for what he done with his friends for our freedom

Regards
Phil

I'm sorry to say that Robert "Robin" C. Grout passed away a couple of months ago. The nurse he married in Belgium, "Button", said he "went west" peaceably.
