Ju88 losses, Stalingrad area, 11.09.42 - help need.

Gentlmen:

11.09.42 st.s-t Gudkov (PVO group of Kachinskaya Air School, Krasny Kut, Saratov region) intercepted a Ju88 (possibly recce - D version?) over railrial Saratov - Astrakhan, and after guns jammed - he rammed bomber. Both a/c crashed, Gudkov managed to bail out.

Place of crash of Ju88 - 5 km. E of Pallasovka

Any losses corresponding with this claim?

Reported missing in that area that day;

Ju 88D-1, WNr. 430333, T1+DL, 3.(F)10. Among the crew were Oblt. Fritz Müller-Löbnitz (B) and Fw. Hermann Seick (F).

Hello Evgeny and John,

in addition to Johns information, it is possible, that at least Ofw Seick and Uffz Barth survived and were taken POW.

Source is a sowjet propaganda-leaflet dropped 10.12.1942 (?) quoting a message from Seick:
"Kameraden!
I am in russian captivity.
We were not being shot, but will be shipped into a camp. Uffz Barth is at the hospital. Please inform my wife and Mister Barth".
