Was there a class under instruction at 3 BFTS in August 45?

Hello David,

From what little I have it would seem so.
I had wondered about the 45 being error for 43 though.

However CWGC has Mitchell at 45.
see here -

Other names are also to be seen in the pages offered, one in May 45.

Re: AT-6 Accident USA, 10th August 1945.

Hello Paul,
Thanks for the links.
As for the first one at over £90 on ebay it is out of my reach.
I will try the local libruary but do not expect they can get hold of one as had had little success in the past.
So have asked about the form on the RAF Forum. Perhaps i'll be lucky?
All the best
Alex

This lists Mitchell as one of the 15 who were killed.

This lists 15 who were killed, but not Mitchell?

You may want to contact the Miami, OK Historical Society. They may have been an article in the newspaper.
