Hi, does anybody have the loss details for the 3/St.G77 Staffel Kapitan lost on 10.5.40 Oblt.Hartmann and his gunner.

I have no more than:
1940-05-10, 3./St.G 77, Ju 87 B, 6 km nordwestlich Herentals, 31 km östlich Antwerpen (Anvers)
Flugzeugführer (Staffelkapitän) Olt Hartmann, Kurt, +
Bordfunker Fw Mische, Walter, +
Vermutlich Flakbeschuß und Brand. Bruch 100 %.

I have Vorselaar as crashsite , the crew were buried at the Schoonselhof cemetery but later reburried at Lommel.

3./StG77 Junkers Ju87B-1. Engine set alight by AA fire (Batt.19/VII 1.DCA) during attack on the Kleine Nete lock at Herentals and crashed near Vorselaar 7.20 p.m. FF Oberlt Kurt Hartmann (Staffelkapitän) and BF Fw Walter Mische both killed. Aircraft 100% write-off.

Hi Alain thanks for the Ekm.No for Hartmann, that's most useful.
My information tells me that Hartmann flew ops during the Polish campaign and his loss must have been a big blow to the staffel, losing such an experienced officer.
