Hoffmann had no Night Fighter Clasp with Pendant.

It's definitely not Werner Hoffmann, could it be Oberleutnant Wilhelm Beier?

From what I can see, he was not commissioned, no DKiG or wound badge. Perhaps the He 219 is a coincidence-how about Maj Karl-Hermann Millahn?

Looks likely & I now think the chap in the centre is Hallensleben

Hi Chris,

You're right.

Although Beier was commissioned, ending the war as Oberleutnant, I can't find any evidence that he was awarded the German Cross in Gold or received a Wound badge, as worn by the chap on the right, who is either an Oberleutnant or Hauptmann.
