8th July 1942 - or previous date - Staka 2./StG 2 brought down?
On a previous post on this Board, I inquired about the StG 2 losses on the 8th July 1942.
Now with the scan and a new computer working, I managed to scan the relevant photo, which was awaiting. From what I understood, the recovering team was photographed on the 8th July 1942. It seems that the pilot was the Staka of 2.StG 2. The code seems to be T6+L? (yellow L) Is there, on the previous days of July 1942, such a loss or damaged machine recorded? Any help most welcomed. So, it may be T6+DK as previously reported here: http://forum.12oclockhigh.net/showth...ght=Ju+87+July
The "L" I saw could be the D covered by a "schwarze-man"...the date fits and the 2nd Staffel also fits. Sorry to re-surrect the previous old thread. I thought it could be or lead to a new loss or new machine recorded as T6+L?. A. |
