Hello , I am a new user on this forum.
I am looking for some informations about a mission :
May 25,1944 the target was Liege (primary target GUILLEMINES MARSHALLING YARDS , secondary target RENORY MARSHALLING YARDS) . The four Bomb Group were 96,385,388 and 452.
It is all I have at this time ..Maybe somebody have more..I hope so .
Thank you,Stephanie.

Talking Re: Liege's bombardment

Hello,
May 25th 1944 was an important day for US bombers. Marshalling yards of Liege, Brussel, Charleroi, Aalst were target for 8th AF planes but most of the east of France marshalling yards too (Belfort, Mulhouse, Metz ...). This took part with "transportation" programm. With the bombers, 600 8th AF fighters ranged over France and Belgium.
Here what i've found about the US losses :

385 BG lost one plane (?)
388 BG lost : # 42-31741, 42-106989 and 42-107017

I've got more about the losses. Please feel free to send a mail off board if you need more.

Good luck.
Stéphane
