Re: The Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-21 - the utmost longevity of scoring
Ah, mistook the notes. Still a kill, is not it?

Hmm...I'm inclined not to count that as a kill.

Re: The Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-21 - the utmost longevity of scoring
Ukraine AF claimed a Russian Su-35 last week. The aircraft was indeed shot down, and it is quite possible that the aircraft was shot down by F-16 launched AMRAAM. UAF has not specified the weapon, more details here: https://www.twz.com/air/claims-swirl...nker-shootdown
If the claim is true, we have 44 years between the first and last F-16 kill. Also, there are claims that Israelis shot down around 10 Iranian aircraft during the Rising Lion operation. If that's true, most likely claimants are F-35s and F-15s, but it is possible that F-16 recorded a kill in this conflict, too. |

Highly unlikely I would say. What if they are shot down or captured?

The Russians have issued data about the successful fighter pilots, e.g. Ilya Sizov.
