Re: eBay: Allied intrest
Post 3904.
I think this B-24 has been featured here before. B-24H 41-28641 H6-R "Cee Gee", ex-453BG crash-landed on a training flight on Feb.4 1944; assigned to 2./KG200 for special ops. with HQ at Finow but using 4 outstations around Europe. Marked "A3+KB ( A3 in very small black digits), serial on tail as "28641" and yellow undersides. Photo at Salzburg R-80 after captured by US forces in May, the field used by Supply & Evacuation Sections (note C-47). Nick

Re: eBay: Allied intrest
Thanks Ed
#1 serial should read N3194, not as per the seller. This was with 92 Sqn when shot down near Boulogne on 23 May 1940. Pilot Sqn Ldr R J Bushell was made POW. He was later murdered by the Gestapo after the "Great Escape"

Re: eBay: Allied intrest
Hi Faenor,
This is Blenheim T2036 PZ-K of 53 Squadron, lost late on 8 October 1940. Identity verified by other EBay photos of the same wreck. Regards, Martin Gleeson.
