Hi,
I'm seeking information of Uffz. Martin Deskau, that served in III./JG 3, in the last year of the war. How many victories did him obtain? What medals did him receive? Thank's a lot! Franklin from Brazil

I only can find in Priens book:
30.01.1945; 11./JG 3; Uffz. Martin Deskau; wounded; Flak, Woldenberg, belly landing, 100%; Bf 109 G-14; WNr. 464100; yellow 6 + |

Thank's for the information. I'm researching on its Bf-109 K-4, w.nr. 334176, that he flow in March 1945, yellow 1+|. Doesn't have any information on air kills? Cheers, Franklin

Martin Deskau probably went down on the lake in Woldenberg and was KIA in the aircraft.
We know this place  But this is not confirmed 100% but place of wrack - yes.

Deskau performed his last flight on 30 April 1945. He did not claim any enemy a/c shot down.

Guess he may possibly have made claims in 1945, but last micro film claim recorded for 11./Jg3 is 17th December 1944, after this I don't think we will ever get the true picture, just speculation and information from log books.
