P/O W H Billing RCAF
F/Sgt H Thornton

Missing from attack on ships off Finale Ligure. Both crewmen rest in Milan War Cemetery.

Thank you Ross, another little "mistery" solved.
I guess that we have found the remains of "our" Beaufighter, in the area only another one plane crashed during the war, and it was a B-25.
Hope that cleaning the pieces we will found some evidences, like serial or construction numbers.

272 Sqn lost Beaufighter TF.X serial NT907 off Finale Ligure (where ever that may be !), 31.8.44

Did the 272 squadron belong to the Coastal Command?

Friends model makers, have thought about making the model of the Beufighter...
Do you have some photos or the codes for the colors of the model?
