Rogozarski IK-Z Yugoslavian Fighters

Good night to all!
I´ve been reading some books and found a lateral view ( painting ) of this strange WW2 fighter plane, the Rogozarski IK-Z.
It is said that this kind of aircraft fought the Luftwaffe with success during the invasion of Yugoslavia, mainly the defense of Prague.
I would like to know more about ( IF there were any ) the claims submitted by Yugoslavian fighter pilots who flew this machine. How many were built during or previous to WW2? How many kills were achieved by Squadrons who flew this machine?
Any link would be very useful too.

Adriano,

The IK-3 fihter were used for defence of Belgrade and they did score several kills (IIRC officially 14 kills were credited to the type). If I remember correctly, there is a Serb language book about the IK fighters (but I don't have that book). In English, there was a book about the IK series as well in the '70's (see here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rogozarski_IK-3).

It is only czech but important are 8. and 10. column - Místo - place, Výsledek - claim. jistě - destroyed , jistě ve spol. - shared destroyed, poškozen - damaged, pravd. - probably

I am not sure that this plane ever fight over Prague. Claims state some 14 kills but documents proof only five. Only one book is published in '60 and that was Profile publication. Sole user of this fighter was 6. vazduhoplovni puk at Zemun.

IK 3 fighters failed completely in defense of Prague but did their best in defending Belgrade. Here is the list of all Yugoslav claims in April War. 161.E and 162.E were equipped with this plane so look for this designation in the third column. I had prepared a English version of the table years ago, but haven't updated the site for a long long long time.

Adriano Baumgartner- I know about the error with the name IK-Z but where did you find info about the defence of Prague? I know that there is a number of web sites with info about IK-3 but I have never try to read it.

Thank you to both of you. I searched on the Wikipedia and Google too and found some good links. However, the claims by Safarik and Boris were knew to me! I read and saw a lateral view of this aircraft on a book translated to Portuguese. I did not write the name, but it was a kind of Serie of small magazines - all linked together. It was only said that this aircraft fought on the Defense of Prague and achieved some 10-14 kills. I thought that there could be more photos or information around. Does anyone knows IF a surviving fighter pilot who flew it is still alive? I read on the sites mentioned that this machine could out-turn the Hurricane and was well armed too. I would like to know what happened to the few machines produced or the airmen that flew them. Any mention on any special book already published? Csaba, I feel from your answers and threads that you are a specialist on this field. There are books on the Yugoslavian Air Force during WW2?
Thanks to both of you for the enlightment of my knowledge. It was indeed a wonderful machine and I wonder if there is any model on 1/72 or 1/48 scale available too.

Andriano- last pilot who flew on this plane was Aca Stanojevic. he died few ytears ago and I have some interview material. During the pre war testing IK-3 perform turn radius of the 260 meters, which is just 10 meters more then most agile fighter in that time, Japanese A6M2. It is also test agains Bf109E, which was in Yugoslav inventory and it was also claimed better in many aspect especialy in dive. IK-3 have less speed but could took any manouevre during dive while German fighter could not and was more sensitive. Technical reports also stated maximum speed of 499 km/h what is much different then data published by few authors.
