waldemar Burkart

This man claimed to hv made a flip-landing near Taganrog in dec. 42, he piloted a Bf109G, I found a Waldemar Burkart with the school units, but not with front-lines ones, who could help ???
The injurie was very bad nd he stay "lahm'', but married his " Krankenschwester"

Are you sure about the spelling of his last name? I found none, but did find some with "Burkhardt".

Hello John,

The name for sure written like looks peculiar, but both source I hv hv the name written Burkart, same also for the the loss with the schools "Burkart"
hv you something in the Dec.42 range ???

I have searched through our officer database checking a number of variations on the name and have found nothing like that. It is possible that the guy never had a high enough rank for inclusion (Hptm. or higher). More likely the name is just wrong.

I have the copy of Klaus Burchardt FB for period 16/12/39 - 22/9/43. He flew for LNS 5 and BFS 7 but no Bf 109 flights, so he is not the one.
