Thanks Ed!

http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?...m=370090464674

A Neman KhAI R-10 reconnaissance and light bomber.
On page 417 Yefim Gordon, Soviet Air Power in World War 2, Midland, 2008, a colour profile of what can be this ac is published as "Red 7" of an unknown unit. The same source gives that more than 490 of these aircraft was manufactured and remained in service until 1943.

On page 84 in Barbarossa Victims, T.J. Kopanski, Mushroom Special No 5102, 2001, is a photo of four R-10s seen parked in the distance in an open field. One is marked "Red 5" according to the caption. This "Red 7" (?) might perhaps be one of the other three?

Cheers
Goran

Two Dutch aircraft marked E-6 and E-13, at least that is what is visible. Type?

Re: Photos 9-26, part one

Hello Ed,

Once again an awsome selection of photos. Has anyone noted the ex-Latvian Fairey Seal with Soviet Red stars at http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?...m=170266240075 ?
Quite a find!

Regards,

Clint

Re: Photos 9-26, part one

You're all welcome. Finding these pictures is like opening a window to the past. I am enjoying learning about different aircraft types as well.
