I doubt they have checked their films. Anyway, IWM should have their copies, as well as, yes, I believe those films come from original IWM holdings. Unless I mistaken my notes! Have you received entries from Feric's diary?

Chris,

Intresting to note the additional Luftwaffe Dieppe loss, I'd missed that one when I went through the IWM QM Log. I guess with most of the Gruppen transferred to the Eastern Front this admin error is understandable. (An intelligence report (in TNA AIR 22/495) estimated that only four aircraft of the Gruppen remained in the west at the time of Jubilee).

I'm guessing, but would Oblt Berkemann have been the Staffelkaptain of 8./KG53 at the time of his loss?
